My Five Beauty Must-Haves
One of my favorite websites for all things beauty is Byrdie. I can spend hours just surfing the site and reading the posts. I live for their YouTube channel; it’s a must for beauty lovers. In case you’re not familiar, I suggest binge-watching their Just Five Things series. I was inspired to create my own, so today I’m sharing the five beauty essentials I cannot live without.
Jean Paul Gaultier Classique
The first item is the one I’ve used the longest, which is Jean Paul Gaultier Classique. Classique is my signature scent; I’ve been using it since I was 15 years old, and if you were a 90’s teen like me then I’m sure you’re familiar with it too. It’s the fragrance I’ve worn on every special occasion in my life; it’s become my lucky charm.
The bottle is iconic, and the notes include Rum, Vanilla, and Amber. It’s a timeless fragrance and I always get compliments when I wear it. I’ve gone through so many bottles over the years, and I love it now as much as I did back then. It’s very special to me and will always be part of my collection.
Glossier Stretch Concealer
I always need to have one my Glossier Stretch Concealers with me at all times. I’m obsessed with the formula; it’s creamy, ultra-hydrating and nourishing for those of us with dry skin. I love to use it as a foundation because it gives me a beautiful luminous base. It’s a wonderful concealer for under the eyes; it doesn’t look cakey or dry. I can’t say enough good things about it.
Sunday Riley Luna
I swear by Sunday Riley Luna. It truly is a miracle worker; there’s nothing like it. When I use it at night, the next day my skin looks radiant. I know some people don’t care for the oily consistency; I welcome it because I have very dry skin and need the hydration. It also exfoliates and renews my skin leaving it smooth. When I don’t use Luna, I miss it. It makes my skin look amazing.
Kjaer Weis Suntouched Cream Blush
I’m a sucker for blush, and Suntouched has to be one of the most flattering blushes I’ve ever tried. It’s a pretty coral color that makes my pale face come alive. Kjaer Weis only uses natural ingredients, so there’s no toxins or nasties. I love that you get both skincare and makeup with this product.
It contains Rosa Rubiginosa Oil, Sweet Almond Seed Oil, and Carnauba Wax; all these ingredients are beneficial for the skin. The packaging is ultra sleek and luxe, and it’s refillable. Super eco-friendly and the quality of the formula is outstanding. It’s my favorite cream blush.
Clinique Moisture Surge Intense
Last but certainly not least, the Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator. I use moisturizer every single day, twice a day, and this one is my all time favorite moisturizer. There’s nothing special about it; it doesn’t have SPF or anti-aging benefits, it just gives your skin intense hydration, and that’s what I need.
The texture is gorgeous; it’s silky, velvety goodness. It sinks in quickly and locks in moisture, and it’s perfect for under makeup. It’s the best moisturizer ever!

All such nice goodies! When I saw that Jean Paul Gaultier Classique bottle, I knew I had to come through and read more. It’s a classic scent and smells divine! I just love how all the Jean Paul Gaultier bottles have that signature body shape. And I’ve heard such great things about Sunday Riley Luna. I must give it a try one of these days.
