So I have a sweet tooth…

March Beauty Favorites | 2019

Today I’m back with another monthly favorites post. I’m excited to talk about these products because I didn’t post a favorites last month. I was preoccupied with using up the items in my Project Pan, so the products I’m going to share today have been on permanent rotation since January.

I will say the one thing all these products have in common is that they all smell incredible! Let me tell you more.

The Honey Mud that smells like chocolate

May Lindstrom The Honey Mud

I’d be lying if I said the May Lindstrom The Honey Mud (100ml/$90.00) wasn’t a favorite for the past two months. It’s a luxurious face mask, and worth every penny. Like many of May Lindstrom’s products; I’ve been testing out a few recently, you don’t just get good skincare, you get an experience.

When I’m feeling anxious or stressed, putting this mask on at the end of the day makes me feel so much better. It’s like therapy; it’s soothing and calming. And did I mention it smells like chocolate?

I see a real difference when I use it. My skin feels hydrated and looks radiant. I use it both as a cleanser and a face mask. I like to put it on my face and neck dry leave it on for the recommended 20 minutes, then hop in the shower and massage it in for a few more minutes then rinse.

If you know of a cheaper alternative, please let me know, but I’ve never used anything like The Honey Mud. I’ve been enjoying it so much. If you want to know more, I have an in-depth review here.

Cookies and Candy

Kiehl's Creme de Corps Smoothing Oil-To-Foam Body Cleanser

I’m crazy about the Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Smoothing Oil-To-Foam Body Cleanser (8.4oz/$29.00). Oh my gosh, this smells incredible! It’s just like candy, and it makes my skin feel silky soft. Every time I use it my bathroom is enveloped with this yummy scent.

The only problem is I know I’ll go through it too quickly; I wish it came in a jumbo size. It’s a must-have for your shower. I love to pair it with the Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Milk Body Butter (6 oz/$38.00).

I purchased this body butter around Christmas time. It’s a beautiful, warm fragrance; it smells like fresh baked cookies to me. Something I find in all Laura Mercier body products is that the scent lasts a very long time on the skin. I don’t need to put on perfume when I use this lotion, of course, I do anyway. It’s nice and thick; it feels nourishing on the skin and leaves behind a pretty glow.

Give me Bonbon

Viktor & Rolf BONBON

I received Viktor & Rolf BONBON (1.7oz/$98.00) for my birthday. I adore a good gourmand fragrance; this has notes of caramel, peach, and amber. It’s a warm and sweet scent, but not cloying or sickly sweet. A mature sweet scent if you will.

It can be intense at first, but then it dries down to something a little more cozy and woody. And I find it lasts pretty well on my skin. It’s definitely a fall-winter fragrance although I can see myself using it all throughout Spring. The bottle is adorable too!

Fenty Beauty Fu$$y Gloss Bomb Lip Luminizer

Finally, the Fenty Beauty Fu$$y Gloss Bomb Lip Luminizer (0.3oz/$18.00). I’m such a fan of the original I just had to pick this one up too. It has the same great fruity scent and looks extra glossy on the lips.

The formula is super comfortable; it’s not sticky or tacky. This pink shade is so beautiful, and goes with any look. I adore Fenty gloss bombs; they’re one of the most long-lasting lip glosses I’ve tried.
