No January blues here.

January Beauty Favorites | 2019

Happy Sunday! Time for the first favorites post of 2019. Some of these products are both December and January favorites; I’m enjoying a lot of new makeup, and I can’t wait to share them with you!

Fresh Caramel

The Fresh Sugar Lip Caramel Hydrating Balm has taken pride and place on my bedside table. I use this every night before I got to bed without fail. It’s super moisturizing and has a light caramel scent that’s not overpowering, and it’s a nice base for under lipstick as well.

One and done

Influenster and Stila sent me one of their Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in the shade Cloud. I heard these were good and I was excited to try it. Cloud is a complex color; there’s lilac, silver, and gold. Photographs will not do it justice. I was very impressed with the quality and pigmentation. During the holidays I wore it to a party and didn’t see any creasing or fading throughout the night. It’s a fantastic formula!

Last month I picked up the Deluxe Eye Crayon in Sly & Sultry from the Estee Lauder By Violette La Dangereuse Collection. This has to be my favorite eye shadow pencil. The shade is absolutely gorgeous; it’s a red burgundy copper with a tiny hint of pink shimmer you can see in the sunlight.

It’s similar to the NYX Jumbo Eyes Pencils, but I prefer the quality of this formula more. On days when I’m in a hurry or late for work; I just glide it over my lids for an easy look. It’s very creamy; I don’t have to drag and tug on my eyelids to get color payoff. If you’re curious to try anything from the La Dangereuse Collection, I highly recommend this.

My last eye shadow favorite is the Chanel Légèreté et Expérience quad. I’ve been using it consistently since I purchased it. It has a nice collection of colors, and the finish is lovely. There’s a pretty light peachy shade for the lid; it has some darker colors for the crease, you can even wear the dark brown as eyeliner. The possibilities are endless with this quad; it’s suitable for day or night. Love. You can find an in-depth review here.

The Best Lip Oil

And finally for makeup, I’m obsessed with the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil in 09 Red Berry Glam. I’m a huge fan of the Clarins Lip Oils; they’re ultra comfortable and add a beautiful shine to the lips. I have a few shades, and my latest addition is the Red Berry Glam. When I saw Sandra raved about it I just had to have it.

It’s similar to the Red Berry shade in the line except this one has gold shimmer running through it; it almost looks like copper. It’s stunning on its own or as a nude lip topper. I believe this shade was a holiday limited edition, which I’m sad about because I know I’m going to use it all year long. I hope Clarins makes this shade permanent.

Reliquia star sign zodiac necklace Capricorn

I have to mention this beautiful necklace from Reliquia. It was a birthday gift from my husband, and I’ve been wearing it non-stop. I was on the hunt for a zodiac necklace for a while, but couldn’t find one that was unique. Then I spotted the Reliquia Capricorn Star Sign Zodiac Necklace ($149 AUD) on Instagram. It’s a fine chain necklace in 18 carat gold fill with an engraved star sign pendant.

I believe it comes in silver as well, but I just love the gold.  It looks beautiful layered with other necklaces. I love the shape of the pendant; it’s timeless and elegant, and the little goat is adorable.
